Dr. Ross is the owner and lead dentist of Dr. Ross Dental.
He has over 20 years of experience in dentistry, including implant dentistry, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from the UBC International Dental Program in 2016, where he updated his skills with the latest treatment options, techniques, and materials.
He is passionate about providing the best service to his patients and community.
Judy is our senior dental assistant who has been working in our practice since 1983. She has assisted Dr. Mori, Dr. Elkerton, and now Dr. Shahriary with patience and care.
She is an expert in infection control, sterilization, and chairside assistance. She loves camping, cooking, baking, and crafting in her spare time.
Born in Iran and raised in Dubai, Dr. Hashemi graduated as a dentist in 2016 and later moved to Canada, where she completed the dental equivalency process at the University of Toronto. She has been proudly serving the Vancouver community for over six years.
Dr. Hashemi offers a full range of general dental services with expertise in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including crowns, bridges, and smile design. Known for her calm, efficient manner, she creates a relaxed and stress-free experience for patients of all ages, especially children.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys walking the Seawall, hiking, playing tennis, and exploring the natural beauty of British Columbia.
Katty is Dr. Ross’s wife and our bookkeeper, backup administration, and marketing person, with 13 years of experience in marketing and customer service.
She studied the Dental Reception Coordinator Program at VCC in 2016 and joined Austin Dental Group in 2017.
She enjoys volunteering at her son’s school, jogging, biking, and yoga on her days off.
Dani, our dental receptionist, followed her mom, Judy, into dentistry and graduated from the Dental Reception Certificate Program through BCIT in 2012.
She is responsible for scheduling appointments, billing insurance claims, answering phone calls, and greeting patients with a smile.
She likes studying, cooking, going to Disneyland, and spending time with her husband Jason and sons Alex and Sam.
Andrea is one of our registered dental hygienists (RDH) who received her hygiene diploma from the University of Manitoba. She has worked at our office since 2004 and enjoys interacting with patients and promoting overall dental health.
She likes reading, exercising, and spending time with her husband and son.
Nada, our other RDH, received her dental hygiene diploma from VCDH and joined our office in 2015.
She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy smiles through gentle, thorough cleaning, education, prevention, and maintenance. She loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Morgan, joined our team in 2019 as a practicum student while attending Vancouver Community College. Make no mistake, she is no stranger to dentistry and worked as a dental technician for our lab from 2005 to 2019. Chances are, if you have a crown in your mouth from that time, Morgan saw it before she met you!
When Morgan, isn’t in the office, she can usually be found doing hot yoga or at the pool. She loves trying new restaurants and hot spots around the Lower Mainland and has a newfound love for travel. She is the curator of our well-loved office playlist and is always looking for new songs to add to our Spotify mix.
Beth, has been working as a Dental Administrator for 20 years, right after graduating.
She is an avid sports fan and can often be found at the soccer field, swimming pool, and cross-fit gyms cheering on her 3 kids with their many extracurriculars.
Beth is a true-crime junkie who loves embarrassing “middle—aged Mom rock.”
She is not a fan of bears.
